Insbesondere in Asien.

What are salesmen/saleswomen from abroad are trained in nowadays?

This is how inquiries mostly look like, which reach me almost daily.

The following questions inevitably occur:
Who trained these salesmen/saleswomen?
Who taught them how to address potential customers in DE & the EU?
Who has explained to them guidelines such as the DSGVO in DE?
Who gave the employees the idea to give themselves such names?
And what leading manager wasn't able to check that?
Why didn't they learn how to find out about potential customers before sending such an email?
Such emails end up in my spam folder and probably also in the spam folder of many others, are ignored and deleted directly.
The way of approaching the customer is not noticed and leaves no trace and many a company that has possibly really good products remains unnoticed.
Some time ago I had already formulated a request to which I received few answers and feedback, maybe it will work this time? ;-)

“Let me ask a general question:

I spent many years abroad on business. In Asian Countries in particular.

Therefore, I receive many inquiries from Saleswomen/Salesmen (as above) from all over the world, who offer me their goods for sale.

Most of the inquiries end up in the SPAM folder or cannot be taken seriously by me and are deleted.

And that has its reason.

The emails sent often lack the basic forms of address that a serious inquiry should contain.

The points are diverse!

Therefore I am currently working on a training program, which is supposed to give "sales people on the international terrain" an understanding of how to address potential clients in the EU.

I already succesfully have given courses in China while I was living and working there..

The question is therefore, would such training programms been exploided?

Or would the supposed "loss of face" often part of the culture in Asia, for example, hinder the commitment to such a training programme?

Would such training courses also be used online in times of the C-crisis?

Or would the personal local approach be important for the people who are interested in such a course?

How much would interested people be prepared to pay for such a training program?

Since I attach great importance to an active exchange of ideas on eye level and do not just want to throw "well-intentioned advice" into the room, the question arises whether this is thinkable for the majority of the participants or not.

I would like to get a picture of whether such a training program, which is often demonstrably urgently needed, would be accepted.

And if so, what is expected, to create a real gain for the participants?

How long should such a basic course be, to make sure the participants are receptive till the end of the course?

Any feedback is welcome…“
